By Bay City News—

A 20-year-old San Ramon man was arrested after he allegedly cut a teen with a knife during a fight over a stolen e-cigarette, police said today. Police said Alexey Nikolskiy confronted a group of teenage boys on Thursday, believing they had stolen his e-cigarette.

Later in the day, two older teenage siblings of the juveniles found the 20-year-old at Souyen Park on Watermill Road and a fight broke out, San Ramon police Sgt. David White said. At some point during the fight, Nikolskiy allegedly slashed one of the teens with a knife, the sergeant said.

Officers responded to the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a weapon. Both Nikolskiy and the victim were taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries inflicted during the fight, according to White.
