Live Oak Elementary School Locked Down During Burglary Arrests

The elementary school was on locked down as San Ramon officers searched for a burglary suspect who they eventually found on the 1700 block of Bollinger Canyon Road.

Live Oak Elementary School was put under locked down briefly Wednesday afternoon as officers searched and eventually arrested a burglary suspect, according to the San Ramon Police Department.

Officers were alerted to a home burglary in progress on Longleaf Circle at about 11:08 a.m.

San Ramon police arrested one suspect as he left the home, but the other suspect fled the scene.

As a precaution, Live Oak Elementary was locked down as officers searched the area.

The suspect was found and arrested on the 1700 block of Bollinger Canyon Road at 12:09 p.m.

Both suspects were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
