House Fire on Windemere Parkway Displaces Family of Four

The family of four inside the house escaped unharmed.

A house fire that originated in the trash bins at a residence in the intersection of Holborn Way and Windemere Parkway spread to the house Saturday afternoon, the Contra Costa Times reports.

The family of four — two adults and two children — escaped the home unharmed and the one-alarm fire was contained within about 15 minutes of San Ramon Valley Fire District firefighters responding.

The blaze severely damaged the electrical system in the home, rendering it uninhabitable, a fire official told the Times.
