Fire Crews Investigate Possible Natural Gas Leak on Crow Canyon Road

Workers at PG&E's corporate offices reported a natural gas odor shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday. Fire crews were unable to determine the source of the scent.

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District spent more than an hour Wednesday morning investigating a possible natural gas leak at Crow Canyon Road and Alcosta Boulevard.

The fire crews have since cleared, said agency spokeswoman Kim French. Several reports came in minutes before 9 a.m. about a possible natural gas odor at 3401 Crow Canyon Road, the site of PG&E's corporate offices.

They were unable to pinpoint the source of the odor.

Employees at the business complex evacuated after reporting the odor, said French.

Kinder-Morgan Energy, , inspected the area, but found nothing amiss, French said. The odor seemed more like a natural gas leak anyway, she added.
