Check out a video uploaded by YouTube user emailbiren of the fire in San Ramon Sunday night.

A grass fire in east San Ramon was under control as of 8:30 pm after planes attacked the blaze from the air with fire retardant.

The fire was reported in the Windemere neighborhood of San Ramon Sunday evening. The 30-acre fire near Hidden Valley Park was knocked down without any injuries or structural damage.

The fire was reported minutes before helicopter cut-off time for Cal Fire, around 7:50 p.m., according to Battalion Chief Mike Jarske.

"It could have been a lot worse," said Jarske. He said the fire was most likely human-caused.
