BB Gunner Shoots Out Windows of 22 Cars

Someone used a BB gun to shoot out the windows of 22 cars in San Ramon Wednesday night.

Police haven't identified any suspects.

Sgt. Mike Boehrer said the person or people responsible shot out windows in various neighborhoods in northern San Ramon from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning.

"The unknown suspect(s) were most likely driving around and firing BB's at parked vehicles," said Lt. Dan Pratt, spokesman for the local police department.

A woman on Talavera Drive, a street in western part of the city, said one of the shots was fired at the door of her son's car, so she requested extra patrol in her neighborhood. Two other cars on her street had windows shot out, too, she said.
