Amgen Tour to Close Streets in Danville Tuesday
The CHP will be in charge of the rolling road closures.
The AMGEN Pro Cycling Tour will be going through Danville on Tuesday, May 13. As a result, officers with the California Highway Patrol will be conducting a rolling closure of streets affected by the ride.
Between 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., closures will occur along Camino Tassajara, Blackhawk Rd. and the Mt. Diablo Scenic Drive. CHP Officers will close the road in advance of the riders coming north from Livermore and will re-open the roadway once the riders are past. Each section should only be closed off for a short period of time, with the maximum expected to be 20 minutes.
The Tour will climb Mt. Diablo where the day’s stage will end.
