A 19-year-old man was struck in the head from behind with an unknown object at the San Ramon Skate Park on Saturday afternoon, San Ramon police said.
Officers responded at 2:43 p.m. to the incident and the attacker had fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital.
San Ramon police are investigating the incident and no arrests have been made.
