For longer trips with several travelers, I found that a one-way rental from one of the local rental car agencies to SFO worked out nicely compared to long-term parking or a shared shuttle. It's been a few years, but I got rates of between $35 to $65 for the half dozen times I did this. The one-way rates back to San Ramon are higher, especially if the car needs to be kept overnight because the local office is closed. BART to Pleasanton and then a $30 taxi ride was the budget alternative.
