Funeral services are set for Bishop Ranch founder Masud Mehran, who died at his home after a short illness on Nov. 26. He was 93.
In 1978, Mehran purchased the land which is now home to one of the largest business parks of its time, according to the San Ramon Express. Today, the once 600-acres of rural orchards has grown into 10 million square feet of office space, home to major tenants employing over 35,000 people.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 6, at Grace Cathedral, 1100 California St, San Francisco.
