Former Livermore, San Ramon City Attorney: Tri-Valley Death Notices

Some of the people with ties to Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon and Danville who passed away recently.

Karla Jo Camicia, 49, passed away on Friday, Oct. 25 in Modesto. Karla is survived by her mother, Myrna Norton, her children: Nicole Camicia and Chris Camicia both of Ceres, her grand daughter, Makenzie Camicia and her siblings: Pamela Dunlap of Livermore and Doug Norton of Pleasanton.

Thomas Richard Curry, 69, resident of Walnut Creek died on Oct. 12. Tom was City Attorney for the City of Piedmont and previously City Attorney for Livermore for 21 years. He also served as City Attorney for the cities of San Ramon, Sonoma and Brentwood, and as an assistant in Walnut Creek and Hayward.

William (Bill) Pennington, 84, resident of Livermore, beloved husband and father, passed away surrounded by his wife and family on Oct. 21. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Springtown Center (931 Larkspur Dr. in Livermore) on Friday, Nov. 1 at Noon. Family and friends are welcome.

Doris Irene (Allen) Wallis, 88, passed away on Oct. 11, just after passing her 70th wedding anniversary. She particularly loved the music of Stephen Sondheim, and played with the TheaterWorks orchestra in Mountain View as well as the Livermore Symphony Orchestra for many years. 

John A. "PAPPY" Warmouth, 84, died on Oct. 21. He was a Marine. Above all else, he was a Marine. After his return to civilian life, he married Vera and had 3 children. They lived in Livermore, CA where he worked for Lawrence Livermore Lab.

Betty Virgin passed away peacefully in Petaluma on Oct. 28, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Dear sister of Hermina Cartwright of FL, John and Dorothy Amberger, and Chuck Amberger all of MI, and Bobby and Garyann Amberger of Pleasanton, CA. 

Kathryn C. Yoder, 99, formerly of Sacred Heart Villa, passed away October 25, 2013, at Berks Heim where she resided since May 2012. Kathryn is survived by three grandsons: Kevin M. Yoder, husband of Johanna Yoder, Pleasanton, CA; Jeffrey A. Yoder, husband of Grace M. Yoder, North Wales, PA; and Jared A. Potteiger, fiancé of Katie Simmons, So. Boston, MA.

Evan L. Siggelkow passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 in Paradise, CA. He is also survived by his daughters Susan Hensley of Dublin, CA and Linda Smit of Suriname, South America; grandchildren, Shannon and Alex Hensley, Sharon Ristino, Ryan Smit and David Smit.

Edward Thomas McKeon Jr., 93, resident of Danville passed away peacefully on Friday, Oct. 25, at his home of 46 years. A funeral mass is Saturday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 440 La Gonda Way, Danville. 

Jeanne Mullally, 95, resident of Danville was born in Oakland, CA, a second generation Californian and passed away Oct. 20. She was a resident of Danville for the past 36 years.
