AT&T Worker, Weather Historian: Tri-Valley Death Notices

Some of the people with ties to Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon and Danville who passed away recently.

Norma (Larajeno) Daprato, 76, passed away Oct. 2. Norma was a Manager of two Sears catalog stores in Pleasanton and Livermore. 

Esther Lacy Flower, 95, passed peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 30 in Livermore, CA. She spent her final evenings sitting outside with sons on the deck at her residence in Livermore, enjoying a warm September breeze.

Arthur Rhoades Hamer, 85, passed away peacefully on Oct. 1. A Celebration of Life Luncheon, Thurs., Oct. 10, 11-2pm, Las Positas Golf Course (Beeb's), 915 Club House Dr., Livermore.

Captain Herbert M Harms, USN, SC (Ret.) A Gig Harbor resident since 1991, died Sept. 27. Herb graduated from Livermore High School ('55) in California and went on to Oregon State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business. 

Loretta C. Hauge, 93, of Livermore died peacefully on the morning of Oct. 3. Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 10 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Livermore, Ca. Viewing from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a funeral mass at 11:00am. The family requests that donations be made to Hope Hospice, Dublin, CA.

Robert Herrera Jr., 46, resident of Livermore died Sept. 30. Family and friends are invited to join us on Oct. 7, 5-8 pm for a Visitation and Oct. 8 at noon for the Funeral Service, all at Callaghan Mortuary, 3833 East Ave., Livermore, Ca.

JoAnn Marie Foley, 66, resident of Danville died Sept. 25. She retired from AT&T after working in San Francisco, San Jose and Pleasanton.

Margaret S. Terry, 74, resident of Pleasanton passed away on Sept. 28 after a valiant battle with kidney failure and cancer. Peggy was a fixture in the Highlands Oaks community caring for the neighborhood, rooting for her A's and Giants, and maintaining a weather history going back 40 years (even submitting the official Pleasanton temperature and rain info to the local papers).
