A San Ramon family was in the national spotlight this week thanks to some creative family photos.
Photographer Jason Lee and his daughters Kristen, 8, and Kayla, 5, of San Ramon were featured on CBS This Morning.
Lee started a photo blog of his daughters doing impossible things, like hanging from a ceiling fan and being stuck in a television.
The photos were made possible with PhotoShop and thanks to Kristen and Kayla's abnormal cuteness what started as a public family photo album became popular for people who love photos all over the work. CBS reported more than a million of people have visited the blog.
"It's just a little bit overwealming when suddenly you're getting hundreads of calls and emails," Lee said.
When Lee's mother was diagnosed with cancer the photos took a creative twist to put a smile on her face. But with her cancer now in remission, most of the most recent photos don't have that PhotoShop touch.
But, still, Lee enjoys sharing the photos with the public.
"I would love to just do a book to tell the story and share the photos," Lee told CBS. "But it's not really about the money, it's more about personal satisfaction."
