In the last couple of days, it has been difficult to digest any media without seeing Time Magazine's cover photo.
It shows a 26-year-old woman, Jamie Lynne Grumet, with her 4-year-old son standing on a chair and breastfeeding.
On Friday, Grumet's parents Tom and Margie Morjigs, who live in San Ramon, talked with CBS 5 about their daughter.
“She’s really, really confident in herself and confident in what she is doing,” Tom Morjigs said.
Margie Morjigs said she nursed Grumet until she was 6.
“I had to go through a lot in the 80s,” Margie Morjigs said. “People did not want to see me nursing as much as I was, and I was picked on.”
