How to Recycle Christmas Trees in Tri-Valley

Our guide to getting that dried-out tree out of the house

San Ramon and Danville

Boy Scouts in San Ramon will pick up trees on Jan. 4 for a $5 donation as part of their annual tree recycling fundraiser. Click here for more information.

According to the City of San Ramon website, there is a one time curbside tree pickup for residents on Jan. 6. Trees must be cut into length of 6 feet or less. Alternatively, San Ramon residents can cut trees into lengths that will easily fit into the green waste cart and allow lid to completely close. Place tree pieces into cart anytime after holidays.
