City of San Ramon Invites Residents to 'Celebrate America, Celebrate San Ramon'

The event will be on Wednesday, July 4 at the Central Park Amphitheater, 12501 Alcosta Boulevard. There are NO fireworks in San Ramon on July 4.

Celebrate America, Celebrate San Ramon on July 4, 2013

The public is invited to Celebrate America, Celebrate San Ramon on Wednesday, July 4 at the Central Park Amphitheater, 12501 Alcosta Boulevard.  The event will begin at 4:00pm with patriotic music performed by the San Ramon Symphonic Band. 

This will be followed by a tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the Incorporation of the City of San Ramon. The recognition ceremony will include a flag ceremony, and the National Anthem. San Ramon Mayor Bill Clarkson will recognize all past and present members of the San Ramon City Council that are in attendance.

The high energy band, The Cheeseballs will perform from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  They will be playing some popular songs from the 1980’s in honor of the City’s incorporation year 1983. Dress in your favorite 80’s outfits and enjoy a fun-filled evening.

Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy all the great music and festivities. Admission is FREE!  To get to San Ramon’s Central Park from the 680 Freeway, exit at Bollinger Canyon Road and head east to Central Park.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO AERIAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY IN SAN RAMON ON JULY 4, 2013
