Update: San Ramon Aquatic Center Back Open After Power Outage

The San Ramon Olympic Pool and Aquatic Park was closed Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning because of a power outage.

Update: The power has been restored and the  reopened at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The will be closed for the rest of Tuesday and at least until Wednesday morning, according to the City of San Ramon Parks and Community Services Department.

The closure is due to a PG&E power outage. This will affect the operations of the City’s aquatic programs. The city expects the pool to be operational and open by 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The city will post an update and status report on the city website by 8:00 a.m. Wednesday and recommends residents to check online before heading to the San Ramon Olympic pool Wednesday.

The city will also send out a follow-up email announcement to participants by 8:00am.

The will be open for recreation swim Tuesday night. All participants registered for aquatic classes at the San Ramon Olympic Pool and Aquatic Park will receive a credit on their account for the canceled lesson. Due to scheduling limitations no make-up lessons can be offered at this time.
