In celebration of Valentine’s Day and Random Acts of Kindness Week (Feb. 14-20), join us on Saturday, February 12th to spread kindness around Market Place in San Ramon! We will be distributing candies, flowers, hugs, kindness cards, and more! We have some fun and simple ways planned for you to pass along small acts of kindness to strangers.
Here’s how you can participate:
1. We’ll meet in front of Starbucks in San Ramon at 2 p.m. (Look for the folks in the SpreadKindness.org t-shirts!)
2. Once gathered, we’ll each choose the acts of kindness we want to perform (ideas listed below), and get to work!
3. Please bring one or more of the following items:
a. cut flowers
b. wrapped candies
c. Colorful Baloons
Kind Acts we’ll be performing:
Hand out candies, flowers, etc…
Distribute Kindness Cards and Kindness Quotes
Leave Candies and kind notes in apartments and cars
Leave kind post-its on windshields
Purchase a beverage for person in line
Open the door for someone
Pay someone a compliment
Smile and say hello
Give free hugs
