After a stressful life as a stock and options broker, Neal Sirota found peace and a new career through man’s best friend.  Sirota walks and boards dogs for his small business ‘K-9-KAMP’ which he began after getting laid off in August 2012.

“Here’s my motto: It’s a walk in the park,” says Sirota. “You take difficult situations and make them easy.”

His family’s support and a friend’s dog walking business inspired Sirota to start his venture which became profitable in less than a year. He loves the joy he can bring to dogs and their families.

“Every customer is happy to see me and no one is telling me to hurry up,” says Sirota, “...and I’ve lost 30 pounds doing it!”

K-9-Kamp is a lifesaver! Neal is amazing and Finn, our 2 year old lab, has never been happier. Best dog walking service in the Bay Area, hands down.
