The Contra Costa Master Gardeners would like to invite you to an educational fundraiser celebrating our East County agricultural community.

A panel of local farmers will share the history of agriculture in the county as well as address future agricultural issues. Joan Morris (from the Contra Costa Times), will be interviewing these family farmers about the past and future of local farming.

Local vendors, such as Bella D'Olio, Continente Nuts, and Hoggan's Honey to name just a few, will be selling products made from the fruits of our agricultural bounty. There will also be a container garden presentation.

Sheri Zidenberg-Cherr, Ph.D will be giving a  talk about nutrition and food choices for school aged children.

Lunch is provided and will consist of locally sourced food. Vegetarian & Gluten-free options will be available. Rounding out this fabulous day, Hannah Nicole Winery will be offering a wine tasting.

This is an event not to be missed.

Tickets are limited, so register early!
