Incumbent Raises $7,000 More in Campaign Funds Than Other Candidates

Vice Mayor Dave Hudson raised over $19,000 for the 2013 election.

Incumbent city council candidate Dave Hudson raised over $7,000 more than his opposing candidates for the Nov. 5 election, according to financial campaign statements.

Candidate Renee Matsumoto raised over $12,000 for her campaign, and received a $1,000 contribution from Mayor Bill Clarkson.

Matsumoto has been endorsed by Council members Scott Perkins and Phil O'Loane, as well as Danville Mayor Newell Arnerich to Contra Costa County Assessor Gus Kramer, according to the Danville Express)

Harry Sachs spent over $700 on precinct walkers in October, and raised over $11,000 for his the campaign.

Thomas von Thury had no contributions to report, as candidates aren't required to file paperwork if they raise less than $1,000.
