Week In Review:

Some of the stories that made headlines in San Ramon this past week.

Campaign finances: Carol Rowley and Phil O'Loane continue to lead their opponents in fundraising in their mayor and City Council races on the Nov. 8 ballot. In campaign statements filed Thursday, Rowley reported her mayoral campaign has raised $38,665. O'Loane has received $26,615 in donations in his bid for a council seat.

New restaurant: It was announced this week that a new restaurant will soon open in the site of the former Marie Callendar's restaurant. Clementine’s will serve “American style cuisine with a touch of southern Louisiana and Cajun,” according to its owners. They hope to open the establishment by Feb. 21, in time for Mardi Gras.

Senior housing: A new senior housing complex celebrated its grand opening on Wednesday. Valley Vista, located on San Ramon Valley Boulevard, has 163 residents living in 105 units. Its owners say it is filling a need in the San Ramon Valley for senior housing.
