Water Pipe Break Closes Senior Center

The senior center will be closed for the rest of the day so city crews can repair the break.

The is closed for the rest of today because of a water pipe rupture.

The pipe isn't in the senior center, but under the street. But workers had to shut off the water to fix the pipe, which is expected to take several hours, according to Nicole Blazin, spokeswoman for the city's Parks and Community Services Department.

All scheduled classes and programs will resume Saturday, the city says.
