1. Video: Buffalo Wild Wings Opens in San Ramon

The national chain restaurant that specializes in wings and televisions that show every sporting event you can imagine, opened on Wednesday.

Its located in the Marketplace Shopping Center off Bollinger Canyon Road, where the old Izzy’s Steaks & Chops used to be located.

3. GE's 'Industrial Internet' Revolution Centered in San Ramon

A technology advancement that could have huge implications on every day life around the world is being created right here in San Ramon.

General Electric, which opened a Global Software Center in Bishop Ranch last year, is investing about $1 billion and hiring hundreds of computer scientists and software engineers to increase the digital intelligence of the physical world.

4. City Monitoring Creek Water Levels Due to Storm

San Ramon has prepared and is ready for possible flooding that could arise from storms this weekend, according to Public Services Director Karen McNamara.

The city will be monitoring the town's creeks and 40 "hot spots" in the city where flooding has been a problem in the past. Crews will be working almost 24 hours a day through the weekend.

Only residents of Patch towns are eligible to enter. We’ll select 24 regional finalists, and from them, pick one grand prize winner. Patch will pay up to $500 of the utility bill for each finalist, while our national winner will have $100,000 donated to his or her local school district.
