Live Oak Elementary School Locked Down During Burglary Arrests

Live Oak Elementary School was put under locked down briefly Wednesday afternoon as officers searched and eventually arrested a burglary suspect, according to the San Ramon Police Department.

The suspect was found and arrested on the 1700 block of Bollinger Canyon Road at 12:09 p.m.

Thousands were without power Tuesday night in San Ramon due to two power outages in the city, accoding to PG&E.

The outage lasted about three hours.

Rep. Eric Swalwell Applauds Introduction of Assault Weapons Ban

Congressman Eric Swalwell announced in a press release Wednesday his support of the Assault Weapons Ban, which if passed would ban assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devices.

Swalwell, who represents the Tri-Valley down to Fremont, said he was one of the original cosponsors of the bill and has encourage fellow new new members of Congress to lend their support as well.

The Greg Jefferies Sports Academy Focused on Teaching Local Kids

The Gregg Jefferies Sports Academy — located at 6940 Koll Center Parkway in Pleasanton — is 12,000-square-feet training center that opened last month. It features three batting cages, three pitching mounds, a 40-yard field to work on agility, a cardio room, a $75,000 weight room, a video room and even a room for birthday parties.
