San Ramon Police Continue Search for Final Gold N' Treasures Robbery Suspect

The San Ramon Police Department continues to search for the final suspect in last year's deadly botched robbery at Gold N' Treasures, and is reaching out to the community for help.

San Ramon police announced Wednesday that they are looking for Manuel Arroyo. He's a 20-year-old Hayward resident that possibly has connections to Walnut Creek.

The San Ramon City Council is considering to enhance its smoking restrictions in 2013.

East Bay Politicians Praise President's Gun Control Plans

San Ramon's new representative Eric Swalwell (D-Dublin) announced his support of the president's directives.

“The president has put together a bold plan to reduce gun violence and Congress needs to enact the legislation called for, like the ban on assault weapons, without delay. We cannot just sit on the sidelines and wait for another tragedy to happen," said Swalwell. "It is long overdue for members of both parties to rise above partisan differences and do what is right to protect the American people.”

Schubros Brewery Opening Taproom in San Ramon Saturday

Schubros, the San Ramon-based brewery, opened it taproom in San Ramon on Saturday.

“We’ve been selling now for a half-year, but more than anything else, the Taproom marks our transition from startup to fully functional. It’s a clear statement -- “With the community’s help, we’re now up and running, and San Ramon is homebase.’” said Ian Schuster, Schubros’ President.
