The first baby born in the San Ramon Valley came into the world at 8:42 a.m. on Jan. 1, according to a report from the Danville Express.
The newborn girl, Deeya, is Pallevi Mehrotra and her husband Deepak's second child.
Baby Deeya, who was due on Jan. 5, was delivered at San Ramon Valley Regional Medical Center.
