County Connection Rolls Out Online Trip Planner

The online tool uses Google Maps to help riders organize their trips.

County Connection bus service recently introduced an online trip planner on the agency's website.

The planner uses Google Maps to help riders organize local and regional trips.

The resource makes it "easier for people to plan transit trips that involve other transit partners within the immediate Bay Area and beyond," said Dave Hudson, chairman of County Connection’s board of directors and a San Ramon city councilman.

“It was time to step up our game in terms of how people get information in today’s technology-driven environment,” Hudson said in a statement.

Now, when you visit the website, the most commonly sought information is easier to find, most of it available within a couple of clicks. There also are links to the agency's Facebook and Twitter accounts, where press releases and service advisories are consistently posted.

For schedule information, visit the trip planner on www.cccta.org. Customer Service is available by calling 925-676-7500.
