There was one more thing missing from the first Presidential debate of 2012. Besides Obama's backbone and Romney's manners, there was another important component missing. Not once did they discuss women's issues! Not a word.
Nothing about equal pay for women, access to contraception, healthcare pertaining to reproductive issues. Just silence. Did these 2 intelligent and powerful men forget that women won the right to vote? That we outnumber them?
Please correct me if I'm wrong, I did struggle to stay awake and I could have missed it. But as far as I remember women's issues got steamrolled like Jim Lehrer.
I am sure they will discuss women's issues during the foreign policy debates.
