opened a new store in May on Railroad Avenue across from Lunardi’s in Danville. The Last Detail, a boutique carrying women’s apparel and accessories, was forced to close one of its three linked stores on Prospect Avenue because of damage caused by a fire last December. The national franchise Club Z! recently opened in Danville, offering in-home tutoring services to students in Kindergarten through high school. The new tutoring company serves Danville, Alamo, Blackhawk, Diablo and San Ramon. For more, visit clubztutoring.com/Danville.

San Ramon’s Sikandar Cash and Carry, covered in a , opened May 29 on San Ramon Valley Boulevard, just south of the Regal movie theater. The new grocery store sells Indian and Middle Eastern groceries and products. See a sample of what’s available at sikandarcashandcarry.com.

Amdador Seafood restaurant will open later this summer in Dublin's Shamrock Village shopping center, replacing the eatery that closed May 1. Owner Hon Wong, says his new restaurant will offer dim sum from 10:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. and then mainly low-priced seafood for dinner. Wong also owns King Palace and Imperial Delight in San Ramon.

, a Pleasanton cookware store, is moving from its downtown location to the Hopyard Village shopping center next to Mr. Pickles in mid June. The new space allows Pans on Fire to expand its cooking classroom and retail section. Learn more about the store and view a class schedule at pansonfire.com.

Giant Book Sale, the discount bookstore that opened in Borders old space in March, will close in a month or two, says owner Martin Carmody. During the closing sale, book lovers can snag books for 20 – 60 percent off and even buy bookshelves and fixtures. You can read more about the bookstore in the .

Livermore’s TT’s Beauty Supply Store reopened April 25 as TT’s Beauty Hair Boutique. The specialty wig boutique, which opened last year on Old First Street in Livermore, sells custom clip-in extensions and customized synthetic and human hair wigs. Garre Winery’s Bocce Ball and Italian Dinner Night summer series begins this Thursday. Bocce fans can enjoy a warm summer evening playing bocce ball after fueling up on a buffet dinner. $35 gets you two glasses of wine, dinner and a couple rounds of bocce ball.
