Schubros Brewery Officially Launching at Danville Fine Arts Faire

The San Ramon-based brewery will be serving its Nico American Wheat beer at the Danville Fine Arts Faire on June 16 and 17.

Schubros Brewery, a new San Ramon-based brewery, announced that it has secured its license and will be launching its first craft beer brand, Nico American Wheat, at the Danville Fine Arts Faire on Saturday, June 16, and Sunday, June 17.

Schubros will offer Nico American Wheat for purchase and enjoyment each day at the beer tent from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

“We’re very excited to be San Ramon’s Hometown brewery, and to launch just in time for Father’s Day,” said Ian Schuster, President of Schubros Brewery. “With our goal of being community centric in everything we do, it only makes sense that we would make our debut at one of our region’s premiere events.”

“We started with Nico because it is a refreshing beer for hot summer days and nights,” said Mike Johannsen, Chief Brewing Officer for Schubros Brewery. “We also crafted Nico to be extremely versatile.  Nico pairs well with nutty cheeses like Manchego and Gouda or a refreshing salad with lots of fresh veggies. Off the grill, it pairs well with grilled chicken and bratwurst."

Craft beer enthusiasts will be able to find Nico American Wheat on draught starting in mid-June at select East Bay restaurants and bars. The debut of Schubros’ 680 IPA will soon follow in July. In the coming months, people can look for  Schubros’ beer in eco-friendly cans at liquor, grocery, convenience and other retail outlets.

“One percent of the proceeds from Nico will be allocated to charitable, environmental causes,” added Schuster.
