National Coffee Day Tomorrow: Free Java at 7-Eleven Stores

September 28 is National Coffee Day and participating 7-Eleven stores are getting in on America's love of the caffeinated drink by offering free cups of coffee with a side of politics.

September 28 is National Coffee Day and 7-Eleven stores across the country are planning to help patrons get their daily cup free of charge.

Stores are celebrating the day with their own "National CofFree Day" on this election year dubbed "7-Election 2012."  Customers can drop by any of the 6,000 participating 7-Eleven stores from 6 to 10 a.m. on September 28 to get a free cup of hot coffee, latte or cappuccino while supplies last.

7-Eleven also wants folks to vote for their favorite presidential candidate and look at the unofficial poll for each state via their site.

The national celebration of the caffeinated beverage follows a 2011 Harvard University study that found that coffee reduces the risk of depression for women.  Women who drink two or three cups of caffeinated coffee per day lowered their risk of depression by 15 percent.  Those who drank four or more cups every day had a 20 percent lower risk.
