San Ramon Community Center Reopens After Pipe Break

Four days after the water main broke, water service has been restored to the facility.

The at Central Park and park restrooms will reopen on Friday for regular service hours Friday.

The water service has been restored after a on Monday. The repairs took longer than initially expected because the pipe was deeper underground than originally thought.

Public Services staff, with assistance from a contractor, worked to repair the leak. All 35 Parks & Community Services scheduled classes and seven facility rentals were successfully diverted to other facilities with notifications going out to approximately 350 participants.

The City of San Ramon appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation during this emergency. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at 973-3350, email parks@sanramon.ca.gov or visit our website for specific hours of operation http://www.sanramon.ca.gov/parks.
