Resident Appreciation Day at Forest Home Farms

Forest Home Farms Historic Park and the Glass House Museum will be open for free tours today during Resident Appreciation Day. This is part of a series of "Thank You San Ramon" events the City is hosting for residents in 2011—2012.

All visitors to the historic park that day will enjoy free tours, tractor rides, sheep dog demos, interpretive exhibits and old fashioned games. Exhibitors will include spinners & weavers, 4H, lace makers, and a blacksmith. The San Ramon Historic Foundation will sell hot dogs and the Gift Shoppe will be open.

Tours of the restored Victorian Glass House Museum are held at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm. Tours of Forest Home Farms Historic Park, including the Tractor Museum, are at 11 am and 1 pm. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes.
