Castro Valley Rotary's Forth Annual Valley Blues Festival is just around the corner and Patch wants to offer one of our readers a chance to attend this year's event for free.

San Ramon Patch will offer one lucky reader two free tickets — a $40 value — to the Oct. 6 festival at Rowell Ranch Rodeo Park which features family-friendly blues, brews and gourmet foods.

To enter, just comment at the bottom of this article telling us what you are looking forward to the most at this year's festival — it's that simple!

Participants may enter only once. We will randomly draw a winner on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 12 p.m. Check back to see if you've won. The winner will need to email analisa.harangozo@patch.com by Friday, Oct. 5 at 12 p.m. to claim the tickets.

San Ramon Patch readers can also receive $5 off the general admission price when they enter the code SRPATCH during ticket purchase check out.

Some more important details:

  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
  • The winner of the contest will receive two tickets to the annual Valley Blues Festival, valued at $80.
