San Ramon 50-Meter Pool Closed For Chlorine Conversion

The San Ramon Olympic Pool and Aquatic Park 50-meter pool will be closed November 12 through 13 for the conversion of gas to liquid chlorine at the pool.

The remainder of the pool site will remain open.

The conversion "will increase safety related to the handling and use of chlorine at the pool," the city website says.

Some aquatics programs will be relocated to the nearby Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center located at 10550 Albion Road, the website says, and lap swim will be offered at the regularly scheduled times at the Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center, with the exception of evening 7 to 8:30pm lap swim, which will not be available on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Participants can visit the city website here for specific program schedule information, or call 973-3200.
