LOV’S KIDS HOLIDAY PARTY AND BINGO

Where/When: McGregor School, 35753 Cedar Blvd. in Newark on Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  (Doors open at 5 p.m.)

Why Go: Children will have a chance to play Bingo and win hundreds of prizes, including dolls, games and stuffed toys. Mr and Mrs. Santa Claus will also be there to visit participants.

Pricing: Free

QUEEN ANNE COURT CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Where/When: Queen Anne Court in Union City starting Friday from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Why Go: Check out the Christmas cheer at Queen Anne Court. The neighborhood lights up with holiday decorations every year and this year’s display is also a fundraiser for the Alameda County Food Bank.

Pricing: Free but nonperishable food items and monetary donations are encouraged and accepted.

OHLONE FLEA MARKET

Where/When: Ohlone Community College Fremont campus, 43600 Mission Blvd. in Fremont on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: On the hunt for some unique treasures? Head out to the Ohlone College Super Flea Market where you can find various items, including toys, tools, jewelry, antiques and more. (Pets are not allowed at the flea market.)

Price: Free to attend, but there is a nominal parking fee.

PADDY’S COFFEE’S GRAND CLOSING CELEBRATION

Where/When: Paddy’s Coffee, 3900 Smith St. in Union City on Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Why Go: Visit Union City’s only independently owned café one last time on Saturday. Owner Paddy Iyer is holding a grand closing celebration and pot-luck party with customers. Donations of clothes, household items and toys for Centro de Servicios will also be collected during the celebration. The coffee shop’s last day of operation will be Friday.

Price: Free

 

FIVE CORNER FIA5CO

Where/When: Bay Street Coffee, 4000 Bay Street in Fremont on Sunday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Why Go Enjoy a warm drink while listening to live music and admiring work by three local artists at this event. The event will feature live art and displays from three local artists and music performances, all while collecting donations for a food drive that will benefit the Tri City Volunteers’ food bank.

Pricing: Free but donations of nonperishable food items are encouraged and accepted.

Hey folks, we made an error about the time of Paddy's Coffee House's Grand Closing Party. The party is an ALL DAY event, from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sorry for the mistake.
