With rain in the forecast through the weekend, San Ramon residents and businesses can take advantage of the free sandbags available at three sites in San Ramon, according to the city's Public Services Department.
Sand and bags can be found at the San Ramon Sports Park, Central Park and the Athan Downs Park.
The city provides sand and bags but residents need to bring a shovel.
