Did You See The Double Rainbow Over Dublin?

There's more to these rainbows than meets the eye. We want to see your photos.

A pair of rainbows spotted last night in the dusky twilight skies over Dublin have been the talk of the town this morning. Many residents reported seeing the double rainbows last night around sunset. No reports have been made whether or not there were two pots of gold at the end of those rainbows...

What causes a double rainbow? According to weather.com, the two rainbows appear "when refracted light does not escape the raindrop after being reflected the first time."

The first rainbow is considered the "primary rainbow" and the secondary displays the reverse colors of the primary rainbow due to the unique refraction.
