Black Cat Friday Adoption Event at Valley Humane Society

Adopt any black or mostly black cat fee-free on Nov. 23, for "Black Cat Friday"

From the Valley Humane Society:

Who needs another dress when you could pick up the perfect little black cat? Visit Valley Humane Society on Friday, Nov. 23, for Black Cat Friday and adopt any black or mostly black cat fee-free. Adoption fees will also be reduced on other styles of cats.

With thousands of years’ superstition to contend with, black cats are often the last to find homes. Yet black cats are always fashionable, they never fade, and with their vibrant personalities, it’s easy to find one that fits your lifestyle. VHS carries all sizes. Doors open at 12 noon, and the event runs until 4 pm (or while “supplies” last). Standard adoption criteria apply. VHS is located at 3670 Nevada Street in Pleasanton. Stock up and save…a life!

Envisioning a world in which every animal is loved and every person knows the love of an animal, Valley Humane Society (VHS) creates a brighter future for cats and dogs by encouraging and strengthening the bond between people and pets. VHS rescues and rehabilitates companion animals, champions responsible caretaking, shares pets’ soothing affections with people in need of comfort,
and supports and preserves existing pet-guardian relationships. Whether you’d like to adopt an animal, share your passion for pets, or meet like-minded people, VHS is Your Means to a Friend™.
