A few of our friends and I are participating in the One Billion Rising Movement as a part of the worldwide movement to end violence against women. We are doing this to raise awareness and funds and hope you can join us.
As part of this movement, we are organizing a V-day party on Feb 14th in San Ramon. We would love it if you come join us for this celebration!
We will also have art work available for you, in exchange for any donations you would like to make. All art has been donated and created by budding women artists in our community.
Any collected donations will be sent to Narika, a registered nonprofit that serves and represents domestic violence survivors who are from the South Asian countries. http://narika.org/
