Meet the TriValley Candidates Night

 

Candidates for US congress, state assembly, state senate and county supervisor will meet the public at the TriValley Democratic Club meeting on Monday, February 20th at the IBEW Hall, 6250 Village Pkwy in Dublin. The doors open at 7 PM. The meeting starts at 7:30 PM.

 

Meet, Congressional District 15 candidates Congressman Pete Stark and his challenger Dublin City Council Member Eric Swalwell, Assembly District 16 candidate Assembly Member Joan Buchanan, Senate District 7 candidate State Senator Mark DeSaulnier, County Supervisorial District 4 candidate Supervisor Nate Miley and County Supervisorial District 1 candidate Supervisor Scott Haggerty. Questions and answers will follow brief statements by each candidate. A straw poll will be taken.

 

 

 

Congressional District 15 is contested by Stark and Swalwell. This newly created district includes Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin and San Ramon; not currently represented by Congressman Stark.

 

 

Assembly District 16 will include Dublin and parts of Pleasanton currently not represented by Assembly Member Buchanan.

 

 

 

Senate District 7 will include Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton; not currently represented by Senator DeSaulnier.

 

 

The public, press and media are invited. There is NO CHARGE. Only Democratic candidates were invited to speak. Refreshments are free, there is ample parking and the room is wheelchair accessible.
