The will present a Baseball Symposium: Strategies for Healthy Performance from 8:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 17.
Student athletes, parents, coaches and trainers are invited to this educational program to be held in the hospital’s South Building, South Conference Room, located at 7777 Norris Canyon Road, San Ramon. There will be no charge.
Sports medicine physicians will speak on exercises designed to reduce injuries and development performance; updates on throwing and pitching mechanics; and risk factors for injuries in young baseball players. Trainers from the Sports Performance Institute will demonstrate conditioning techniques.
