On December 4, Christmas will come to life at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette. Every shelf, clothes rack, and cabinet will regale with color and light as you enjoy a one-stop shopping experience that meets all of your holiday needs. You might already aware of this, thanks to your generous donations.
Ladies, let’s put ourselves first, just for once! Holiday attire, whether dazzling or understated, will provide you with dresses, skirts, pants, jackets, blazers, blouses, purses, and shoes that will carry you from daytime functions to evening festivities. Gentlemen, let the dedicated member volunteers direct you toward the tuxedos, cummerbunds, ties, and dress shirts. A visit to the children’s section will reveal beautiful dresses, frilly and fancy, all of which will promise to make yuletide dreams a reality. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
As for holiday décor for the home; whether for the table, under the tree, or on the mantle, your eyes will take in the array of wreaths, festive lights blinking bright, centerpieces, Santas, angels, nutcrackers, garlands, and ornaments made of glass and ceramic. Let an assortment of table runners, placemats, napkins, and platters help you make those who are dear to you feel welcome when visiting your home.
