City Council voted to allow the store to open inside the old Nob Hill space on Santa Rita Road, despite objections from one council member.
The Pleasanton City Council voted Tuesday night to allow a Walmart Neighborhood Market to open inside the long-vacant Nob Hill grocery spot on Santa Rita Road. In Pleasanton, there are several new stores popping up, including a new Safeway and a possible New Leaf Market. Locally, competition is already fierce. Those who support the store point to…

Half-price drinks between 3-5 p.m. and a new Chocolate Cookie Crumble flavor? Yes!
When it's warm out, there's nothing better than strolling around with a frothy beverage. Yeah, I know. It feels like it's October around here. It's a blended concoction of mocha sauce, vanilla syrup, chocolate chips, milk and ice, topped with chocolate whipped cream (!?!) and …
