Hundreds of San Ramon Little League players and their families flocked to Athan Downs Park on Saturday morning for the annual Opening Day ceremonies.

The event kicked off with baseball games and carnival games for the younger set. Then the players, ranging from five-year-old T-Ball players to teenage Majors, marched out to the fields for the annual parade of teams.

Next came the Opening Day ceremonies, which included a guest appearance by Mayor Abram Wilson. After that? baseball and barbeque, of course.
