Absolutley tragic. I live near this intersection and can not begin to tell you the close calls I have seen. Students on their way to Cal High fly thru this intersection and proceed up Millbridge drive at alarming speeds. Not to be outdone is the everyday M-F worker who frequently speed as well. Please SLOW down and quit talking/texting on your phones while driving!

I live in this neighborhood as well. This was not a matter of if it was going to happen, but when. Unfortunately, it was this morning. I have called and asked the SR police to monitor Millbridge for speeding and they have responded. However, it's just for the day. Driving back from an errand today at approx. 1pm today I took a left on Montevideo I witnessed a parent pulled over and stopped mid-turn onto Tareyton picking up a child. I proceeded to take a right on Davona to witness the same thing, holding up traffic on both sides of the road. Then, as if that weren't bad enough, I take a right on Millbridge to witness, yet again, a parent pulled over for a student to get in that was holding a skateboard!! You wonder why there are accidents?? There has got to be a better way. Please remind yourselves to slow down. I'm hoping that there will be announcements made and a lyris sent home at all schools regarding this issue. Please hold your judgements. This could have been you, your child or someone you know either driving the car or having been hit by it.
