Video: With Soccer, a Community Comes Together to Support Breezy

Cal and Stanford women's soccer teams played an exhibition game at Dougherty Valley High on Saturday to support a 10-year-old San Ramon girl who has been diagnosed with cancer.

"Today we're out here for Breezy."

That's what one Cal women's soccer player said, but it might as well of come from any of the 3,500 people that were at on Saturday.

Last fall, Brianne "Breezy" Bochenek was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer.

To show their support for Breezy and to raise funds for other children battling Osteosarcoma, friends of the Bochenek family organized a chaity soccer game between Cal and Stanford in San Ramon.

Event organizers estimated more than 15 local soccer clubs attended the event and it raised more than $8,000.
